Alex Wochna is a freelance web application developer living in Tucson, Arizona. He has worked on numerous projects for many different clients, from one-man freelance gigs with clients to being part of a team developing and maintaining many websites at once.

Although starting with PHP and Drupal, he wanted to dive deeper and further. His journey took him through Ruby, Javascript, and Elixir and he now works full time on Javascript and Elixir projects.

While employed at the University of Arizona, he spoke and gave a numer of presentations at different working groups and the University’s own IT Summit in 2016.

As a hobby, Alex writes about things he learns or explores while programming web applications in Elixir with the goal of helping the Elixir community grow.
